Description

The Extech 380460 is built to help technicians, engineers, and lab personnel measure very low resistances with confidence. At its core is a true four-wire (Kelvin) measurement system, which removes the influence of lead and contact resistance to ensure that the displayed value reflects only the resistance of the component being tested. The meter offers five selectable measurement ranges: 200 mΩ, 2 Ω, 20 Ω, 200 Ω, and 2000 Ω, allowing use across a wide span of low-resistance tasks. In its lowest range, it resolves down to 0.1 mΩ.

Users can also adjust a manual zero offset (±100 counts) to compensate for residual path resistance. The large 0.7-inch (18 mm) LCD provides a clear 1999-count display. There is also an overrange indication to alert users when the value exceeds the selected range. Housed in a compact, durable field-service enclosure with a protective cover, the meter includes a set of 4-wire Kelvin clip leads for immediate use. The 380460 operates from 110 VAC (typically 60 Hz) power.
