Extech 45158 Anemometer

The Extech 45158 Mini Thermo-Anemometer with Humidity is engineered to provide accurate and reliable measurements in a portable form factor. Its foldable design extends up to 9 inches (229 mm), allowing for better reach in hard-to-access areas. The dual LCD display simultaneously shows air velocity and either relative humidity, dew point, temperature, or wind chill, facilitating efficient diagnostics and analysis.

Equipped with a 1-inch (24 mm) non-corrosive vane impeller, the 45158 measures air velocity across multiple units: feet per minute (100–5500 ft/min), meters per second (0.5–28 m/s), kilometers per hour (1.8–100.6 km/h), miles per hour (1.1–62.5 mph), knots (1–54.3 knots), and Beaufort force (1–17 BF). The device also measures temperature from 0 to 122°F (-18 to 50°C), relative humidity from 10% to 95%, and dew point from 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C).

The anemometer features selectable averaging functions of 5, 10, or 13-second intervals, enhancing measurement stability. It also includes data hold and auto power-off functions to conserve battery life. The water-resistant housing ensures the device floats and is drop-tested to withstand falls from up to 6 feet (1.8 meters), making it suitable for various environmental conditions.

For added convenience, the 45158 is tripod mountable and comes with a CR2032 lithium battery and a 43-inch (109 cm) lanyard for easy carrying.
