The 480836 RF EMF Strength Meter is engineered for versatile detection of electromagnetic fields in high-frequency environments. It covers a broad frequency range of 50 MHz to 3.5 GHz, with optimized sensitivity for common bands like 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, and 2.7 GHz, making it suitable for mobile networks, Wi-Fi, base stations, and microwave sources.
Its tri-axis (three-channel) isotropic sensor enables non-directional measurements—so you don’t need to orient the meter toward the source to capture field strength. It supports Max Hold and Average measurement modes to capture peak or averaged RF levels. Users can store and recall up to 99 data sets for comparative or field survey work. An adjustable audible alarm helps alert when field levels exceed selected thresholds. Readouts include values in electric field (V/m, mV/m), magnetic field equivalents (A/m), and power density (µW/m², W/m², etc.). The unit is lightweight (~200 g with battery), compact (9.3 × 2.4 × 2.4 in or 237 × 60 × 60 mm), and powered by a standard 9 V battery. A carrying case is included for portability and field use.
