The Extech AN300 Large Vane CFM/CMM Thermo-Anemometer is engineered for precision in airflow measurements across various applications, including HVAC system diagnostics, environmental monitoring, and industrial airflow assessments. Its 4-inch (10 cm) vane allows for more precise readings on larger ducts, ensuring accurate data collection in challenging environments.
This instrument simultaneously displays air velocity and temperature, providing real-time insights into airflow conditions. The built-in thermistor measures air temperature within a range of -4 to 140°F (-20 to 60°C), with an accuracy of ±0.6°C. For airflow measurements, the AN300 offers a wide velocity range from 40 to 5900 ft/min (0.2 to 30 m/s), with an accuracy of ±1.5%, and can compute air volume in both cubic feet per minute (CFM) and cubic meters per minute (CMM) up to 99,999 units.
The device features a dual-function LCD display, allowing users to view multiple parameters simultaneously. It also includes functions such as data hold, min/max readings, and auto power-off to conserve battery life. The AN300 is powered by four AAA batteries and comes with a hard carrying case for portability and protection.
For enhanced measurement capabilities, the optional AN300-C airflow cone and funnel adapter kit provides a quick and easy means of airflow measurement for common duct sizes, streamlining the process and improving measurement accuracy.
