The Extech CB10-KIT is a compact, all-in-one electrical troubleshooting kit that combines three tools to perform five key functions. It’s designed to help electricians and technicians quickly locate circuit breakers, test outlet wiring, trace continuity, and detect AC voltage—all from a single rugged kit.
Description
The CB10-KIT integrates a circuit breaker finder, continuity tester / wire tracer, and AC voltage detector (with integrated flashlight) into a convenient, portable set. The circuit breaker finder locates 110 V to 125 V AC branch circuits using audible and visual indicators, and offers adjustable sensitivity to precisely identify the correct breaker. It also tests outlets, including GFCI protection, and flags common wiring faults using built-in LED indicators.
The continuity tester / wire tracer (CT20) provides visual and audible feedback via a flashing LED and pulsating beeper when continuity is detected. Its remote probe supports tracing up to three cables, enabling a single user to confirm wire paths without assistance.
The AC voltage detector (DV20) offers non-contact detection of voltages from 100 V to 600 V AC. It includes a built-in flashlight for illumination in dark or confined spaces, all within a durable, double-molded housing.
The kit comes in a protective case and includes all necessary batteries, making it ready for field use. Designed for ease of use, it empowers users to perform multiple troubleshooting tasks without carrying separate instruments.
