Description
The CO10 is engineered for quick, on-the-spot detection of carbon monoxide levels in indoor environments. It employs a stabilized electrochemical sensor specifically tuned for CO detection. Upon power up, it performs a self-check, then begins monitoring CO levels, displaying current concentration in parts per million (ppm).
If CO rises above 35 ppm (default alarm level), the meter emits a beep and visual indicator; the alarm’s beep rate increases as CO levels climb. Once CO exceeds 200 ppm, the alarm is continuous. Users can recall the highest CO reading (Max Hold), store readings in memory, and hold a reading on the screen. The display includes a backlight for low-light conditions. To preserve battery life, it automatically powers off after 15 minutes of inactivity (unless disabled).
The unit is powered by a single 9V battery and comes with a protective holster and carrying case, making it convenient for field inspections, HVAC checks, or safety audits. Its size and interface are optimized for ease of use in daily work environments.
