Extech EA10 EasyView™ Dual Input Thermometers
The Extech EA10 is a robust handheld dual‑input thermometer, designed for simultaneous measurement of two Type‑K thermocouples. It offers a very wide temperature range (approximately –200 °C to +1360 °C), a large back‑lit display, and functions such as relative (offset) mode, data‑hold, and MIN/MAX capture—making it especially useful for industrial and process‑monitoring applications.
Description
This instrument supports two separate Type‑K thermocouple inputs (T1 and T2). On its large multifunction back‑lit LCD display you can view either the two temperatures individually or the difference between them (T1−T2 plus one of the inputs), which is ideal when you need to monitor a gradient or compare two temperature points. The device accepts standard Type‑K bead‑wire probes (two supplied in the kit) and spans from about ‑200 °C to +1360 °C (‑200 °F to +1999 °F) with selectable resolution of 0.1° for finer readings below a certain threshold and 1° for higher spans.
Features
-
An OFFSET button so you can set the current reading as a baseline and then display subsequent readings as difference from that baseline (i.e., relative measurement).
-
MIN, MAX and AVG recording functions, along with timer/elapsed time display, useful when tracking how temperatures evolve during a run or process.
-
Data‑Hold function that freezes the current reading on screen, which is helpful when you need to record or note a value in the field.
-
Auto power‑off (after ~30 minutes of inactivity) to conserve battery. Low‑battery and over‑range (“OL”) indications are built‑in.
-
Rugged and compact design: the unit includes a built‑in stand, protective holster, and ships with two Type‑K bead‑wire probes plus batteries.
