Extech EX470A 12-Function True RMS Professional Multimeter with Infrared Thermometer

The Extech EX470A integrates a True RMS digital multimeter with an infrared thermometer, offering a wide range of measurement functions in a single device. It measures AC and DC voltage up to 600V, AC and DC current up to 10A, resistance up to 40MΩ, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle, diode and continuity testing, and temperature via both infrared and Type K thermocouples. The infrared thermometer provides non-contact surface temperature measurements from -20°C to 270°C (-4°F to 518°F) with an 8:1 distance-to-target ratio and a fixed emissivity of 0.95. The Type K thermocouple allows for contact temperature measurements up to 750°C (1382°F). Additional features include a large backlit LCD display, data hold, relative mode, auto power off, and input fuse protection with mis-connection warning. The EX470A is housed in a durable enclosure and is rated for CAT IV 600V safety, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.
