Description
The IR320 is designed to deliver fast, accurate surface temperature readings in tough environments. With a 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio it allows you to measure smaller target areas from a safer distance. The dual lasers frame the exact measurement area, helping avoid mis-aiming on hot or dangerous surfaces. The unit supports programmable high/low temperature alarms with visual LED cues (red for high, blue for low) so you can quickly scan equipment and identify hotspots or anomalies without constantly reading every value. Its display supports MIN/MAX/AVERAGE/DIF modes, and the device offers data-hold and continuous-measurement “lock” mode for monitoring. With a robust build—water- and dust-resistant (IP65) and drop-tested to about 3 m—it’s suited for fieldwork, industrial inspections, HVAC/R maintenance and electrical/motor diagnostics. Backlighting ensures visibility in low-light areas. Emissivity is adjustable (approx 0.10 to 1.00) for different surface materials, increasing versatility. It comes ready for use with a 9 V battery and soft case.
