Extech MO230 Pocket Moisture Meter

The Extech MO230 utilizes electrical resistance to measure moisture content in various materials, including wood, paper, wallboard, sheetrock, cardboard, plaster, concrete, and mortar. The device offers a wood moisture range of 0 to 75% and a building material moisture range of 0.1 to 24%. It features a dual graphical LCD that simultaneously displays moisture content, ambient temperature or humidity, and an analog bargraph for moisture levels. The memory function includes three wood groups and four building material groups, calibrated for approximately 150 species of wood and 19 building material types. The device also includes programmable high and low moisture value settings for quick comparative measurements.
