Extech PQ3450 3-Phase Power Analyzer/Datalogger

The Extech PQ3450 is built for detailed power and energy monitoring in three-phase systems. Housed in a rugged over-moulded case with a sun-readable dot-matrix backlit display, it offers full system analysis—covering voltages (phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground), currents, active, reactive and apparent power, power factor, phase angle, frequency and cumulative energy parameters.

With adjustable CT (current transformer) and PT (potential transformer) ratios, the PQ3450 can handle high-power distribution installations and varied measurement setups (1-phase or 3-phase, 3-wire or 4-wire). It logs up to 30,000 data sets on a removable SD card, which can be downloaded in Excel format for further analysis. The device supports sampling from every 2 seconds up to 2 hours, enabling both short-term and long-term monitoring tasks.

Safety is built in: it is rated for CAT III at 600 V, making it suitable for industrial installations. The unit comes with voltage leads, SD card, AC adapter and batteries; current probes are optional depending on the required current range.
