Extech PRC30 Multifunction Process Calibrator

The Extech PRC30 Multifunction Process Calibrator offers high-accuracy sourcing and measurement capabilities for various process signals. It supports eight thermocouple types—J, K, T, E, C, R, S, and N—allowing users to simulate and measure temperature outputs in Fahrenheit, Celsius, or millivolts. The device also provides a 24V DC loop power source for 2-wire current loops and can source and measure voltages up to 20V and currents up to 24mA.

Designed with user convenience in mind, the PRC30 features a large, backlit dot-matrix LCD display for clear visibility in various lighting conditions. It includes up to five user-adjustable calibration presets, enabling quick setup for recurring calibration tasks. The calibrator also offers Cold Junction Compensation (CJC) for thermocouple measurements, ensuring accurate temperature readings.

The device’s palm-sized, double-molded housing ensures durability and portability, making it suitable for both lab and field applications. It operates on six AA batteries, providing extended work cycles, and includes an external power adapter for continuous operation.
