Extech RHT10 Humidity and Temperature USB Data Logger
The Extech RHT10 is a USB datalogger for simultaneous humidity and temperature monitoring. It records up to 16,000 readings for each parameter (32,000 total), supports user-configurable sampling intervals from 2 seconds to 24 hours, and allows you to download data to a PC via USB for analysis. It also supports dew point calculation via its companion software and has programmable alarms for both humidity and temperature.
Description
The RHT10 is built for environmental monitoring applications where both humidity and temperature need to be tracked over time. Inside, it uses a capacitive humidity sensor and a temperature sensor to measure ambient conditions continuously. Users can set how often it records data—from as fast as every 2 seconds to as slow as once daily. Once data collection is complete (or at any time), you plug it into a computer via its USB interface; the included software allows downloading recorded data, viewing graphs, exporting to Excel or other formats, and computing dew point values based on the logged humidity and temperature. The unit has red/yellow and green LEDs for status indication, and supports setting alarms (high/low thresholds) for both humidity and temperature. It’s powered by a 3.6 V lithium battery, which typically lasts about a year depending on use. The RHT10 is compact and includes a USB cap and mounting hardware.
