Extech RPM250W Laser Tachometer with Connectivity to ExView® App

This device is designed for measuring the rotational speed (in RPM) of rotating machinery or components from a distance using a laser. It features non-contact measurement capability, a built-in photodiode/laser sensor, and a large back-lit LCD display for on-device viewing. Bluetooth connectivity allows the device to pair with the ExView mobile app (iOS/Android) enabling remote viewing of readings, data export (e.g., CSV), report creation (PDF including photos), and linking with up to eight compatible devices simultaneously. Measurement range extends from approximately 10 RPM up to 10,000 RPM (for non-contact laser measurement), and target distance ranges typically from 50 mm to 500 mm (2 in to 1.64 ft). It supports a “data hold” freeze function, min/max capture, tripod mount standard (¼-20) for mounting stability, and auto power-off (which can be disabled). It is part of Extech’s 250W Series of connected meters.
