Extech RPM33 Combination Contact/Laser Photo Tachometer

This unit allows the user to measure rotational speed either by placing the contact tip on a shaft or by using a laser beam reflected off a marked target from up to about 0.5 m (1.6 ft) away. The non-contact (photo) mode covers approximately 2 to 99,999 rpm, while the contact mode covers about 2 to 20,000 rpm. It also supports measurement of surface speed (e.g., feet/min, meters/min) and length (inches, meters) via the included wheel adapter. The meter features a large five-digit back-lit LCD, built-in memory to store up to ten readings including measurement, max, min and average values, a quartz-crystal referenced microprocessor for high accuracy, and a rugged handheld form suitable for industrial maintenance. Accessories like reflective tape, wheel adapter, and battery are included so it’s field-ready out of the box.
