Extech SDL720 Differential Pressure Manometer/Datalogger
The SDL720 is a mid-range differential pressure manometer and datalogger capable of measuring up to ±29 psi (≈2000 mbar) with dual inputs, storing manual readings and continuously logging to an SD card for export and analysis.
Description
The SDL720 is designed for professionals who need accurate differential pressure measurement combined with data-logging capability. It features two built-in piezoelectric sensors allowing it to measure the pressure difference between two points (P1 vs P2) simultaneously, which is particularly useful for ductwork, filters, ventilation systems, airflow setups and general industrial-use scenarios. The unit supports ten selectable units of measure (psi, inH₂O, mmHg, bar, kPa, mbar, atm, etc.), a zero-offset correction for quick calibration on site, and a large back-lit LCD display for clear viewing in field conditions. For data capture, you can manually store up to 99 readings, or engage continuous logging via a standard SD memory card (supplied) with date/time stamps and exportable to spreadsheet format for post-analysis. The sampling interval for automatic logging can be user-set from one second up to nearly nine hours, making it flexible for both short-term events and long-term monitoring tasks. Additional features include Max/Min recall, Data-Hold freeze, auto-power-off (which can be disabled for long sessions), and rugged construction suitable for field use. Supplied accessories typically include six AA batteries, a universal AC adapter, SD card, hose couplers and hard carrying case—making it ready out of the box for mid-range differential pressure measurement and logging.
