Extech SDL730 Differential Pressure Manometer/Datalogger
The Extech SDL730 is a high-range differential pressure manometer and datalogger capable of measuring up to about 101.5 psi (≈7000 mbar) on dual inputs, storing readings on an SD card for export, and offering full manual and automatic log modes.
Description
The SDL730 is engineered for demanding pressure-measurement applications where both high range and data-logging flexibility are required. It features dual differential pressure inputs with internal sensors, enabling it to measure the pressure difference between two points simultaneously. The maximum range is around ±101.5 psi (≈7000 mbar), enabling its use in industrial, HVAC, research or power-system installations. The instrument offers manual storage of up to 99 readings, while for continuous monitoring it uses a standard SD memory card (included) so users can log thousands of readings, with date/time stamps and export in spreadsheet-compatible format. The unit supports up to ten selectable measurement units (for example psi, inH₂O, mmHg, kPa, mbar, atmosphere, etc.), and includes features such as Max/Min recall, Data-Hold, zero offset correction, and an auto-power-off that can be disabled when logging. The front-panel includes a large back-lit LCD for clear viewing in the field, and the overall rugged build makes it suitable for professional use. In short, the SDL730 combines high-range differential pressure measurement with logging and export capabilities, making it a strong choice for monitoring flow, duct pressure, filter differential, test rigs or other environments requiring reliable long-term logged pressure readings.
