Extech TG20 Wire Tracer Kit

The TG20 Wire Tracer Kit is designed to make cable tracing and line checking straightforward and efficient. The kit consists of a transmitter (which you can connect via alligator clips or RJ11 plug) and a non-contact probe. The transmitter injects a traceable signal into the wire or cable, and the probe picks up that signal audibly so you can follow the path of the wire even when hidden behind walls or in bundles.

It also supports continuity checking and telephone line testing—helping you confirm that lines are intact and wired correctly. With adjustable sensitivity on the probe, false detections are reduced and wire identification becomes easier even in noisy cable environments. The probe produces an audible tone and the transmitter includes visual indicators for line condition or continuity. The kit is packaged with everything you need to get started: the probe, transmitter, a pair of clips, and two 9V batteries.
