Description
The Fluke 279 FC Thermal Multimeter helps you locate problems immediately by combining thermal imaging and electrical measurement in a single tool. As a first-line troubleshooting device, it quickly identifies hot spots on high-voltage equipment, transformers, fuses, connectors, wires, splices, and switches—all from a safe distance. By integrating two essential tools into one, it reduces the need to carry multiple instruments and improves overall productivity.
With expanded functionality through the optional iFlex® flexible current clamp, the 279 FC allows current measurements up to 2500 A AC in tight or hard-to-reach spaces. Its large full-color LCD provides clear viewing of both images and readings, while the rechargeable battery delivers over 10 hours of operation under normal use.
Built-in Fluke Connect® adds further efficiency, enabling you to wirelessly transmit results to a smartphone, monitor and trend measurements in real time, and generate and share reports directly from the field—saving valuable time and ensuring work is properly validated.
