Fluke 568 Ex Intrinsically Safe Infrared Thermometer
The Fluke 568 Ex is an intrinsically safe infrared and contact thermometer designed for hazardous environments, including petroleum, chemical, oil & gas, and pharmaceutical sites. Measuring -40°C to 800°C (-40°F to 1472°F) with a 50:1 distance-to-spot ratio, it delivers accurate, repeatable temperature readings while ensuring safety compliance in Class I Div. 1 & 2 or Zone 1 & 2 areas. Rugged, ergonomic, and easy to use, it supports K-type thermocouples and includes data logging and audible/visual alarms for efficient industrial temperature monitoring.
Description
The Fluke 568 Ex Intrinsically Safe Infrared Thermometer brings Fluke’s precision and reliability into hazardous work zones. Certified for use in Class I Div. 1 & 2 or Zone 1 & 2 environments worldwide, this thermometer is ideal for the petroleum, chemical, oil & gas, and pharmaceutical industries. The device measures temperatures from -40°C to 800°C (-40°F to 1472°F) and combines infrared non-contact measurements with K-type thermocouple contact measurements.
Its 50:1 distance-to-spot ratio allows accurate readings of smaller objects from a safe distance, minimizing exposure to high-risk zones. The three-button on-screen menu interface simplifies advanced functions like adjusting emissivity, recording data, and setting alarms. Rugged and ergonomic, the 568 Ex is housed in a conductive case to safely carry it into Ex-rated areas.
The Fluke 568 Ex also offers audible and visual alarms to immediately notify users when temperatures exceed preset limits. Up to 99 points of data can be stored for later analysis and transferred to a PC via USB. Its backlit display and adjustable emissivity table make readings easier under varied lighting and material conditions. Powered by two AA batteries, it combines safety, durability, and precision in one reliable industrial thermometer.
