The Fluke 709H combines the functionality of a precision mA loop calibrator with HART communication capabilities, making it an essential tool for process technicians and maintenance professionals. Designed for ease of use and high performance, the 709H can source, simulate, and measure mA signals, power up loops, and communicate directly with HART-enabled devices.
Its Quick-Set rotary knob interface ensures fast navigation and setup, reducing testing and calibration time. With its built-in HART support, technicians can perform tasks such as reading device information, executing diagnostic tests, and trimming calibration on most HART transmitters — previously possible only with expensive communicators or laptops.
For data management, the optional 709H/Track software allows fast transfer of calibration data in .CSV or .TXT formats, making documentation and reporting effortless. The integrated data logging function provides a selectable capture interval from 1 to 60 seconds and a storage capacity of 9,800 records or 99 sessions, capturing detailed transmitter measurements, process variables, and status conditions for troubleshooting and loop analysis.
Built with a rugged, compact design, the 709H fits comfortably in hand and withstands tough field conditions. It offers a high-contrast backlit LCD display for visibility in low-light environments and includes a built-in 24 V DC loop power supply, eliminating the need for additional external power sources.
