Fluke 715 Volt/mA Loop Calibrator
The Fluke 715 Volt/mA Loop Calibrator is a compact, high-accuracy tool designed for measuring, sourcing, and simulating 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA loop signals. It also measures voltage output from PLCs and transmitters, and provides a 24 V loop supply, all in a rugged, easy-to-carry package suitable for field and workshop use.
Description
The Fluke 715 Volt/mA Loop Calibrator delivers reliable and precise performance in a compact, lightweight design, making it ideal for technicians working with process control systems. Built with the rugged durability of Fluke tools, it measures loop current (0–20 mA, 4–20 mA) with 0.01% accuracy and 1 µA resolution, and measures voltage outputs from PLCs and transmitters with high precision.
It can source or simulate 4–20 mA loop current, and also provides a 24 V loop supply while measuring current simultaneously. The tool includes configurable zero and span settings, step and linear ramp output functions, and enhanced voltage and current measurement and sourcing accuracy.
For HART-enabled systems, the Fluke 715 comes with a 250-ohm HART resistor with loop power, eliminating the need to carry additional resistors. The calibrator is EMI-tolerant, dust and splash resistant, and features a protective yellow holster with test lead storage. A single 9 V battery provides up to 18 hours of operation, and the removable battery door allows for quick replacements.
Its simple push-button interface ensures easy operation in the field, and compatibility with the ToolPak magnetic meter hanging system adds convenience during installations and maintenance.
