Fluke 718Ex Intrinsically Safe Pressure Calibrator

The Fluke 718Ex Intrinsically Safe Pressure Calibrator provides a complete calibration solution for pressure instruments used in hazardous environments where intrinsic safety is required. Certified to ATEX II 1G Ex ia IIC T4 and CSA Intrinsically Safe standards, it is specifically engineered for safe operation in potentially explosive atmospheres.

This rugged handheld calibrator integrates a pressure/vacuum hand pump, vernier fine adjust, and bleed valve, eliminating the need for separate hand pumps during field work. The internal pressure sensor delivers measurement accuracy of 0.05% full span, while compatibility with up to eight intrinsically safe Fluke 700PEx pressure modules extends the measurement range up to 200 bar (or 700 bar with modules), offering flexibility across different applications.

In addition to pressure measurement, the 718Ex provides current measurement capability with 0.02% accuracy and 0.001 mA resolution, enabling loop testing, transmitter calibration, and pressure switch verification. Multiple selectable pressure units allow for easy adaptation to global standards.

Built for field use, the 718Ex is compact, lightweight, and reliable, featuring a simple push-button interface, Min/Max/Hold functions, and a durable design tested for 1 m drops and 2G vibration. The backlit LCD enables simultaneous display of pressure and current, ensuring clear visibility even in challenging conditions. With a three-year warranty (one year for the pump) and powered by a standard 9V battery, it offers long-term dependability for technicians working in hazardous industrial environments.
