Fluke Networks Pro3000™ Tone Generator
The Fluke Networks Pro3000™ Tone Generator is a reliable analog tone generator for tracing and identifying individual wire pairs, testing continuity, and confirming line polarity across inactive networks.
Description
The Fluke Networks Pro3000™ Tone Generator is designed for fast and accurate troubleshooting of inactive copper cabling. Utilizing SmartTone™ technology, it provides five distinct tone cadences, allowing technicians to easily identify individual wire pairs in bundles or complex cabling systems. The angled bed-of-nails clips provide convenient connection to individual wires, while the RJ11 connector makes it ideal for testing telephone jacks.
The unit can send tone signals over distances of up to 10 miles (16 km) on most cable types and includes a continuity mode for testing line continuity and polarity. Tone signals are easily traced using a compatible analog probe (sold separately). With overvoltage protection up to 60 Vdc and robust design, the Pro3000 is suitable for demanding field environments.
