Hioki CM4375-90 AC/DC Clamp Meter (1000A) With Wireless Adapter

The Hioki CM4375-90 combines strong current-handling capacity, safety features, and modern connectivity to meet the needs of electricians, solar PV inspectors, and industrial maintenance crews. Its True RMS measurement capability extends up to 1000 A AC/DC, letting users capture both AC and DC currents accurately even when waveforms are non-sinusoidal or when loads are variable.

One of its defining features is the slim jaw design, which allows the clamp to be placed around conductors in crowded switchgear or panel board environments without needing much clearance. The jaws are engineered for durability—rated for 30,000 open/close cycles—offering long life under frequent use.

This meter supports up to 1000 V DC by default, and if you use the optional P2010 high-voltage probe, it can handle up to 2000 V DC, opening up high-voltage inspections such as those found in large PV arrays. The safety ratings reflect this: CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V (standard), extending further when using the P2010 probe.

Connectivity and workflow efficiency are strong points. With the Wireless Adapter Z3210, measurements can be transmitted to smartphones or tablets through the free GENNECT Cross app for real-time reading, report generation, and harmonic analysis (up to the 30th order). The meter also includes a suite of features expected in industrial clamp meters: auto AC/DC detection, inrush (rush current), peak/crest readings, multiple DMM-type functions (voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, etc.), display hold, backlight, and rugged build for field work.
