The Hioki BT6065 Precision Battery Tester is designed to provide highly accurate and rapid measurements of both open-circuit voltage (OCV) and AC internal resistance (AC-IR), making it essential for evaluating the performance of high-capacity battery cells used in electric vehicles (EVs) and energy storage systems (ESS). This compact instrument combines the functions of a voltmeter and an internal resistance meter, streamlining the testing process and improving operational efficiency.

The BT6065 supports simultaneous OCV and AC-IR measurements, reducing testing time while increasing throughput. It delivers high-resolution readings, with a DC voltage resolution of 10 µV and an AC-IR resolution of 10 nΩ, enabling precise assessment of battery performance. The tester accommodates a wide variety of battery types through its five AC-IR measurement ranges, from 5 mΩ to 50 Ω, and maintains advanced accuracy, providing a DC voltage accuracy of ±0.002% reading ±20 µV and AC-IR accuracy of ±0.08% reading ±0.08 µΩ at a 300 mA measurement current.

The device is equipped with Mutual Interference Reduction (MIR) to allow multiple testers to operate in close proximity without interference, and Referential Adjustment compensates for the effects of eddy currents using actual batteries as references, ensuring reliable results. Route Resistance Monitoring continuously detects issues such as probe wear or wire breaks, supporting predictive maintenance and preventing misidentification of battery conditions. With comprehensive connectivity through LAN, RS-232C, USB, and external I/O interfaces, and a user-friendly 6.5-digit display, the BT6065 enhances usability in diverse testing environments.
