The PW3337 is a 3-channel AC/DC power meter suited for measuring single-phase and three-phase (up to 4-wire) electrical equipment. It handles DC through high frequency ranges, supports voltages up to about 1000 V, direct currents up to about 65 A, and allows for high current measurement via external sensors. Description
The PW3337 is a benchtop power meter built for precision across a wide variety of electrical measurement tasks. With three independent input channels, it can monitor multiple circuits or phases simultaneously, for example in three-phase 4-wire systems, dual-output inverters, or comparing input/output of devices under test. It accommodates voltages up to about 1000 V (AC or DC) through direct input, and handles direct currents up to ~65 A without external sensors. When larger currents are needed, external current sensors can be used, enabling measurements up to several thousand amperes.
Its frequency coverage spans from near DC (0.1 Hz) up through 100 kHz, allowing it to accurately follow both slow and fast changing signals, harmonics, and inverter switching components. Measurement items include voltage, current, active/apparent/reactive power, power factor, phase angle, frequency, efficiency, waveform peaks, crest factors, ripple, etc. It also features harmonic analysis (up to the 50th order), and maintains accuracy even under low power factor or no-load conditions. The meter offers various interface options (e.g. LAN, RS-232C, GP-IB, analog / D/A outputs depending on model), external synchronization so multiple units can be aligned in time, and extensive external sensor support. It is packaged in a rack-friendly benchtop form, with display, update rates, and options oriented towards both lab characterization and production test environments.
