HHioki LR8515 Wireless Voltage/Temperature Logger
The LR8515 is a compact, wireless 2-channel logger for measuring both voltage and temperature (via thermocouples type K or T). It uses Bluetooth for wireless data collection, supports sizable data storage, and offers multiple power options to suit both portable and fixed-installation use.
Description
The LR8515 is a wireless data-logger device built to capture small voltages and temperature data in challenging environments. It has two isolated input channels, where each channel can be set up either for voltage input (ranges from tens of millivolts up to ~50 V) or for temperature measurement using thermocouples (type K or T), from −200 °C up to nearly 1000 °C. It stores measurement data internally (hundreds of thousands of points per channel), so even if wireless communication is not always active, nothing is lost. Real-time monitoring and data download are possible via Bluetooth to a tablet or PC. The device is designed for flexible powering — it can be run from AA batteries, an AC adapter, or an external DC supply. It also includes functions like alarms, scaling (to convert sensor output), large/minimum/maximum/average display, comment annotation, and power-saving modes. Its enclosure is small and rugged enough for installation in c
Features
- Two isolated input channels that can each be configured for voltage input (±50 mV to ±50 V) or for thermocouple type K or T probes.
- High resolution: voltage input resolution down to 0.01 mV; temperature resolution to 0.1 °C.
- Large internal storage: up to ~500,000 data points per channel.
- Multiple recording intervals: options from ~0.1 second up through minutes, allowing both slow-trend logging and more granular data capture.
- Wireless data transfer via Bluetooth for real-time monitoring or field data collection using tablets or PCs.
- Power flexibility: runs on AA batteries, external DC supply (5-13.5 V), or AC adapter; built-in power-saving functions to extend battery life.
- Display of measurement value plus time/date, number of recorded data, max/min/average; also supports setting alarms, scaling of sensor outputs, annotation.
- Compact, rugged form factor: small size and weight allow mounting in tight spaces or inside panels; isolated inputs and good handling of small signal voltages.
- Accuracy: voltage measurement error small even at low ranges; thermocouple accuracy within about ±0.8 °C under typical conditions.
- Long operating time: depending on logging interval and wireless activity, can run several days to weeks on battery, especially with Bluetooth off.
