Megger DET2/3 High Resolution Earth Tester

The Megger DET2/3 is engineered for professional use in demanding earthing and grounding applications—such as communications earth systems, lightning protection networks, railway installations and large electrode grids. It delivers exceptional measurement precision with a resolution of 1 mΩ and an auto-ranging resistance measurement from 0.001 Ω up to 20.00 kΩ. 
To ensure accuracy in noisy, complicated environments, the device includes variable test frequency (10 Hz to 200 Hz in steps of 0.5 Hz) allowing the operator to select the optimal test frequency and filtering to minimise interference. 
The instrument features a large colour display with graphical “live trace” of measurement noise and status, providing immediate insight into test conditions and enabling diagnostics. 
Portability is addressed via internal rechargeable Li‑ion battery that can run a full day and fast‑charge (~3 hours to full), and the unit is sealed to IP54 when in use, and IP65 when closed, so it can stand up to harsh field conditions.
Data handling is built in: the tester can store up to hundreds of thousands of data points, and results can be downloaded via USB or flash‑drive to PC software for analysis and reporting. 
It supports a full range of test modes: 2‑pole, 3‑pole and 4‑pole earth resistance; soil resistivity (Wenner/Schlumberger); stakeless (ART) testing; continuity and leakage current measurements.
