Description

The DLRO10X is designed for professionals who must reliably measure very low resistances in critical electrical systems, where accurate readings can be the difference between a safe connection and a potentially failing joint. The unit automatically selects the optimal test current (up to 10 A) depending on the resistance under test, yet also allows manual override for specialist use. It performs four-terminal (Kelvin) measurements to eliminate lead resistance error, and uses automatic current reversal to cancel thermoelectric EMFs—ensuring high accuracy (≈0.2%). The measurement range spans from 0.1 µΩ to 2 kΩ across seven ranges, allowing everything from micro-ohm checks through to kilo-ohm regime testing. Results are produced typically in under 3 seconds and include both forward and reverse current readings plus their average. The DLRO10X adds on-board memory (up to ~700 results) and a full alphanumeric keypad to input test notes, making it easy to label and store tests on the go. It also features a back-lit LCD for readability in difficult lighting, a rugged case for field use, battery or mains operation, and output ports for data download. Safety features include input protection up to ~600 V, warnings for live voltage and current flow, and detection of continuity in connection paths. Suitable for demanding industrial and utility applications, the DLRO10X delivers advanced micro-ohm measurements in a portable, field-ready instrument.
