Megger DLRO2X 2 A Low Resistance Ohmmeter
The DLRO2X is a 2 A handheld low-resistance ohmmeter built for tough environments. It’s designed to deliver repeatable, accurate measurements in the field—even under electrical noise and long-lead conditions—while offering enhanced safety and data recording capabilities.
Description
The DLRO2X offers professionals a robust tool for measuring very low resistance values across applications such as railways, wind turbines, aerospace, switchgear and bonding systems. With a full 2 A DC test current capacity and a dedicated “long lead” mode (delivering up to 1 A into ~4 Ω), it accommodates challenging scenarios with extended test leads or bulky inductive loads. Its built-in noise-rejection mode and “Confidence Meter™” function provide stability of readings in electrically noisy environments, while the “Difference Meter” mode allows comparison of current measurements against a stored reference to track changes over time. For data management, the unit offers on-board memory, USB export (and in many cases Bluetooth connectivity) for automatic storage and transfer of results. In terms of safety and durability, it is rated CAT III 600 V / CAT IV 300 V, offers active protection against inadvertent live connections up to ~600 V (without blowing a fuse), and features an IP54-rated enclosure to withstand dust and moisture in the field. The DLRO2X thereby combines measurement precision, rugged design and data functionality for professionals who must certify low-resistance elements under real-world conditions.
