Users can select test voltages starting from typical lower values (e.g., 1 kV, 2.5 kV, 5 kV, 10 kV) up to the full 15 kV range, enabling flexibility across different insulation systems. It supports an insulation resistance measurement range up to approximately 35 TΩ at 15 kV, facilitating detection of very high-quality insulation. The instrument features advanced test modes including Insulation Resistance (IR), timed IR, Polarisation Index (PI), Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR), Dielectric Discharge (DD), Step Voltage (SV) and Ramp-Voltage tests. It further incorporates high noise-immunity (8 mA) and adaptive filtering to ensure stable, accurate results in electrically noisy substation environments. Remote control via USB or Bluetooth is supported, enabling testing from safe distances.
