Extech RH25 Heat Index Psychrometer

The Extech RH25 Heat Index Psychrometer is a compact, pen-style environmental meter that measures multiple parameters such as temperature, relative humidity, heat index, wet bulb, dew point, and WBGT (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature). It is handy for monitoring how conditions “feel” in hot, humid environments and includes user-programmable alarms to warn when conditions approach dangerous levels.

Description

The Extech RH25 combines multiple ambient and climatic measurements into one pocket-sized device. At its heart is a multiparameter sensor that reads humidity and temperature, from which it calculates derived metrics such as heat index (which considers humidity’s effect on perceived temperature), wet bulb temperature, dew point, and WBGT (a composite index accounting for temperature, humidity, and radiant heat). You can program threshold alarms for heat index or WBGT to alert you when conditions become risky (for example, for heat stress). The RH25 supports Min/Max/Average recording, a data hold function, and auto power-off (with disable option). It runs on a single CR2032 battery, making it lightweight and highly portable for field, indoor, or outdoor use.
