The Fluke Networks Pro3000™ Tone Generator with Alligator Clips and RJ11 Plug is designed for rapid and accurate troubleshooting of inactive copper cabling. Using SmartTone™ technology, it provides five distinct tone cadences, making it easy to identify individual wire pairs in bundles or complex wiring systems. The included alligator clips attach to wires, screws, and various terminals, while the RJ11 plug allows direct connection to telephone jacks.

The unit can send tone signals over distances of up to 10 miles (16 km) on most cables. Dual-color LEDs indicate continuity and line polarity for reliable testing. Tone signals are easily traced with a compatible analog probe (sold separately), and the device features robust overvoltage protection, ensuring safe use in field environments.
