Extech 382100 1200A 3-Phase Power Analyzer/Datalogger
The model 382100 is a full-featured three-phase power analyzer and datalogger designed for up to 1200 A and 600 V systems, delivering extensive system diagnostics including power, energy, harmonics and phase angle, while recording large volumes of data onto an SD card for spreadsheet-based analysis.
Description
The 382100 is built to handle demanding power measurement tasks across single-phase and three-phase electrical systems (including 3-wire and 4-wire configurations). It supports true-RMS measurements up to 600 V AC and 1200 A AC via included clamp probes, and it allows setting CT (current transformer) and PT (potential transformer) ratios so it can scale for high-power distribution environments. The analyzer displays a rich set of parameters (voltage, current, active/reactive/apparent power for each phase and for the system, power factor, energy totals, phase angles, frequency) on a large backlit LCD that remains legible in bright or industrial lighting. For data collection, it logs tens of thousands of data sets onto a removable SD card, exportable in spreadsheet-compatible format for post-analysis. Sampling intervals are user-programmable from seconds up to hours, enabling both transient capture and long-term monitoring. The unit is housed in a rugged enclosure with safety rating suitable for industrial sites. In sum, this instrument is a turnkey solution for commissioning, auditing and troubleshooting power systems in industrial or commercial settings.
